When an Admin or Editor publishes a message in Actimo, the content can be targeted to specific groups, departments, or employees. Here's how the process works:
Step 1: Create and Target the Message
Create the Message: The Admin or Editor drafts the message intended for the employees.
Select a Category: To ensure the message reaches the appropriate audience, the Admin or Editor selects a category that corresponds to the target group or department. This selection determines where the message will land and who will see it.
Step 2: Publish the Message
Publish: Once the category is selected, the message is published.
Step 3: Message Delivery
Targeted Visibility: The published message will only be visible to the chosen department or group. This ensures that only the intended recipients can see the message.
Step 4: Feed Appearance
Unread Messages: When the message is published, it will appear as unread on the Actimo app.
Top of the Feed: The unread message will be positioned at the top of the feed, making it easily accessible to the recipients.
Step 5: Reading the Message
Mark as Read: Once the recipient clicks on the unread message, it will move from the unread section but will stay at the top of the feed until a new message is published.
By following these steps, Admins and Editors can ensure that their messages are effectively communicated to the right audience within the organization.
