Transform your existing PDF content into a polished, snackable Actimo message in minutes! Our AI-powered feature simplifies the process of bringing existing materials such as training handbooks, policies, and reports, into the Actimo platform without needing to manually copy-paste or reformat text.
In order to enable this feature, simply go to Admin > Defaults > AI Features > Enable Feature.
How It Works
Upload your PDF: Start your message creation flow and upload a PDF directly from your computer or content library.
Select Pages: For longer PDFs, you can select up to 10 pages to convert at a time to ensure the resulting message is focused and easy to digest.
Configure Settings: Customize the AI output. Choose your preferred tone of voice, content length, and language.
Generate: The AI intelligently parses your PDF by extracting text, detecting images, and even identifying quiz questions. It then creates an Actimo message complete with ready-to-use carousels and interactive modules!
Review and Edit: Once generated, the message will open in the editor. You can tweak the text, replace or crop images, and refine the modules before publishing.
Key Features & Customization
When generating your message, you can adjust several settings to fit your needs:
Tone of Voice: Match your company's communication style (e.g., Conversational, Empathetic, Formal, Humorous, Informative, Inspirational, Playful, Reflective).
Content Length: Choose to extend, shorten, or keep the original length of the content.
Language: The system automatically detects the language of your PDF, but you can instruct the AI to generate the message in another language to suit your audience.
Interactive Modules: Allow the AI to suggest and insert interactive elements such as quizzes if relevant content is detected.
Image Extraction: The AI will automatically extract relevant images (skipping decorative backgrounds) from the PDF and add them to your message.
Limitations & Best Practices
File Size: The maximum file size for PDF uploads is 15 MB.
Total Pages: The PDF file can be up to 50 pages long. However, to keep messages concise and ensure the best processing performance, you can only generate a message from up to 10 pages at a time.
Handling Larger Documents: If you have an employee handbook or long policy document, we recommend selecting specific pages to create one message per chapter.
Image Cropping: PDFs with complex layered vector images might require you to use the cropping tool within the editor to perfect the extracted image.
